Department of Economic Sociology
Brief Information about the Department.
The department was organized in 1990 and works on scientific studies of social and economic problems of Ukrainian society. The main directions of its research are profound studies of social aspects related to the national economy reforming. The studied problems are the following: development of entrepreneurship as to social-status and personal characteristics, social mechanisms and their role in privatization and economy reforming, various kinds of social-economic behavior in different groups of population. Apart from the above-mentioned research directions, the department conducts the researches commissioned by governmental bodies and private companies.
